On November 9, 1947, on the initiative of D. António Valente da Fonseca, then Bishop of the Diocese of Vila Real, and Mr. Father Henrique Maria dos Santos, its first director, appeared on the newsstands A VOZ DE TRÁS-OS-MONTES, in a four-page format, which would become a weekly in January of the following year. Over the years, A VOZ DE TRÁS-OS-MONTES grew.Distributed on Thursday mornings, particularly in the districts of Vila Real and Bragança and throughout the country and in Portuguese communities throughout the world.In December 2014, the newspaper A VOZ DE TRÁS-OS-MONTES is published by the company Letras Dinâmicas, Lda., in order to prevent an entire community from being deprived of a fundamental means of communication for the life of this region, in what it was a milestone in the life of the title, as it underwent several changes at a structural level, with new content, a new design and a bolder journalistic project.Fully aware of the difficulties of maintaining a quality and sustainable journalistic product, in these times of great changes in the media, but with a lot of spirit and a lot of belief in the potential of the project that we embraced in December 2014, in a true spirit of mission and that It has had a huge reception from readers. A sign of this is the increase in subscribers and the continuous growth of visits to the site, as well as the success of the most diverse information products (Special Editions) that we have published over the last few years.In 2021 we launched a new, more modern and attractive website. In the same year, we launched this application that aims to deepen the focus on digital and bring readers closer to the information that we are publishing on a permanent basis.
